EU Carbon Rules Reshape Financing Needs for Serbian Exporters

The European Union’s expanding carbon border regime is creating new financing requirements for Serbian manufacturers selling into European markets, as companies face additional needs for investment, emissions data and working capital. The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) could eventually cover a broader range of manufactured goods.
