Telekom Srbija is preparing to acquire five additional telecommunications companies in Serbia, following its recent takeovers of Orion Telekom WiFi and Beotelnet-ISP. The targeted companies are: Nova Telnet (Porodin), Media KDS (Sombor), MSAT Inženjering (Petrovac na Mlavi), Link 016 (Lebane), and KATV (Čoka). Together, these operators employ 28 people and reported combined revenues of €680,680 in 2024.
Financial performance varies: only Link 016 and KATV reported positive EBITDA, with €6,802 and €24,680 respectively. The other three operators showed negative EBITDA, reflecting weaker profitability. Link 016 is the only operator registered for wireless telecommunications; the others focus on cable services.
Telekom Srbija notified the North Macedonian Competition Commission of its intent to gain “direct exclusive control” over these companies. None of the operators have legal entities or revenue in North Macedonia.
Proposed relevant markets for the acquisitions include retail broadband internet access and distribution of media content services. Telekom Srbija aims to consolidate its position in Serbia’s telecommunications sector through these acquisitions.
