Soil analysis at the “Marina Dorćol” construction site found no substances harmful to human health, project manager Đorđe Lukić announced. Tests conducted by the City Institute for Public Health showed inorganic substance levels up to ten times lower than the remediation threshold.
Samples were taken from 18 areas, with over 70 points analyzed — the most detailed test so far. Traces of oil, copper, and nickel were detected but remained within safe limits, typical for former industrial zones.
At a meeting between investor “Sebre” and Danube Quay residents, citizens raised concerns about dust, vibrations, parking, and the amount of green space. The company said the plan includes at least 40% free and green areas, with 10% directly on the ground, and called for cooperation with local authorities to address parking issues.
