Entrepreneurs, small, and micro-enterprises in Serbia will be able to sign contracts for guaranteed electricity supply starting October 1, the Serbian power company Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) announced. This program allows these customers to purchase electricity at fixed prices under the guaranteed supply scheme, regardless of their consumption.
EPS stated that this initiative will help many entrepreneurs and small businesses reduce electricity costs compared to current market rates. It also provides them with flexibility to choose between commercial or regulated electricity markets.
The change expands access to guaranteed supply, giving small customers the same electricity prices as households, regardless of annual consumption or the voltage level of their connection points. EPS emphasized that this measure actively supports the development of small businesses as a pillar of economic growth.
