Serbia and Republic of Srpska reaffirmed their close ties and commitment to agricultural development during the 23rd International Interagro Fair in Bijeljina, where Serbia participated as a partner country.
Dragan Glamočić, Serbia’s Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, emphasized that cooperation between the two regions is natural and necessary, given their shared heritage. He highlighted Serbia’s readiness to open new European and global markets for domestic producers and stressed the importance of investing in modern technologies, digitalization, and tradition preservation to address rural development and climate challenges.
Anđelka Kuzmić, Minister of Agriculture of Republic of Srpska, noted that the region’s agricultural budget reached a record 180 million convertible marks, focusing on engaging youth and women in agriculture.
Savo Minić, Prime Minister of Republic of Srpska, highlighted investments in mechanization over the past four years, including 2,221 tractors, 15 combines, and over 7,000 attachments, emphasizing that joint efforts ensure dignity and prosperity for all citizens.
The Interagro Fair showcased innovations in agriculture, forestry, and food processing, underlining that the future of the sector depends on collaboration, innovation, and coordinated participation in domestic and international markets.
