During the week, the Novi Sad Commodity Exchange experienced weak trading activity across most primary crops, with total turnover reaching 908 tons, valued at 24.06 million dinars.
Corn from the new crop traded at 22.50–24.00 din/kg (excluding VAT), depending on aflatoxin levels and parity. Contracts for the 2024 crop were settled at 24.00 din/kg, reflecting a 1.37% decrease compared to the previous week.
The wheat market remained passive for most of the week, with very limited supply. Bread wheat accounted for 47% of weekly trading. Prices ranged from 20.50 to 20.60 din/kg, with a weighted average of 20.55 din/kg, a 0.23% increase from the previous week. Buyer interest focused on wheat with lower protein content.
Soybean supply was limited, with some periods of no offerings at all.
Barley traded in smaller quantities at 20.80–21.00 din/kg, down 0.72% from the previous week. High supply prices and weak buyer interest limited market activity.
Sunflower showed the most fluctuations between supply and demand, resulting in low turnover. One contract was concluded at 56.81 din/kg (excluding VAT).
