The final 36-kilometer section of the Danube Corridor is expected to be completed by February next year, said Tan Sijenfeng, Deputy General Director of the Chinese company Shandong Hi Speed, following a working meeting with Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure Aleksandra Sofronijević.
He emphasized that the work is progressing according to the planned schedule, with special attention to safety and quality. Shandong Hi Speed is also involved in building the future Belgrade-Zrenjanin-Novi Sad expressway and has previously completed the Iverak-Lajkovac section.
Minister Sofronijević described the cooperation with the Chinese group as very successful and stressed the importance of continuing the path set by the Presidents of Serbia and China, united by a strong friendship.
