The municipality of Brus is set to become home to two new solar power plants planned for construction within the cadastral area of Lepenac. These developments aim to significantly boost local renewable energy capacity and contribute to the region’s clean energy goals.
The project includes two solar power facilities: SE1 with a maximum capacity of 9.99 MW and SE2 with a capacity of 9.03 MW. Together, the two plants will cover approximately 26.23 hectares of land, currently undeveloped and available for this purpose.
Both sites are strategically chosen to maximize solar energy production while supporting Serbia’s broader efforts to increase sustainable energy sources and reduce carbon emissions. Once operational, the solar plants will provide a substantial amount of clean electricity, potentially supporting thousands of households and contributing to energy security in the region.
