In Žitorađa, a solar power plant with a capacity of 8 MW is planned. The investor of the solar park, named Hisar, is the company Kamena Glava doo from Đurevac in the municipality of Blace, specializing in research and development in natural and technical sciences.
According to the Draft Detailed Regulation Plan for the solar park, which the municipality of Žitorađa has put on public display, the park will be located in the Đakus cadastral area, covering 26.18 hectares.
The planned solar power plant will have an approved capacity of 8 MW, with a maximum energy intake from the electricity distribution system of 10 kW. The plant will be equipped with 32 inverters, each rated at 255 kW, according to the plan prepared by Teking doo from Niš.
Additionally, in February, the municipality of Žitorađa approved the preparation of a detailed regulation plan for the construction of a 400 MW energy storage complex (battery system) on the Pejkovac cadastral area, covering 31.37 hectares.
