The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated that the help that the Government will provide to the citizens and the economy will not cause problems with the debt of the state, ie that the debt will not exceed 60 percent of the gross domestic product, Beta reports.
“First they said why we didn’t help, and when we helped, then they say that we will borrow. Maybe it would be best if we didn’t help anything? We will keep the debt at 60 percent,” said Vucic.
He said that it is not so high if we keep in mind that the amount of the French debt is 115 percent and the Greek debt is 220 percent.
“We give to the people as much as we can. And I guess we are here to fight for the people to be better. Do you want us not to give anything to the people?” Vucic asked.
Speaking about the criticism of the monument to Stefan Nemanja, Vucic assessed that those criticisms come from those who do not want Belgrade to be a Serbian city, apart from being cosmopolitan, Politika reports.
