Vladimir Lučić, CEO of Telekom Srbija, expressed shock at recent accusations from Priština authorities claiming that Serbia attempted to destabilize Kosovo by reporting a bomb threat in the Kosovo parliament through the MTS network.
Lučić reminded that two years ago, Priština tried to shut down Telekom Srbija, demonstrating clear intent to hinder or halt the company’s operations. He emphasized Telekom Srbija’s strong international reputation and urged the Priština administration to focus on issuing a third mobile telephony license, which would benefit residents in Kosovo and Metohija, rather than engaging in scandalous attacks.
Following the bomb threat report in the Kosovo Assembly last Saturday, Kosovo’s acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Acting Minister of Internal Affairs Dželjalj Svečlja accused Serbia of conducting a hybrid war against Kosovo using Serbia-based mobile networks.
Security expert Agim Musljiju further accused Serbia of destabilizing Kosovo via the MTS network and called for an investigation into MTS operations in Kosovo.
