Serbia is preparing a €45.5 million investment programme to modernise the Port of Prahovo, combining reconstruction, additional terminal capacity, improved rail connectivity and infrastructure designed to handle vessels during difficult navigation conditions. Located on the Danube near Serbia's eastern industrial and mining belt, Prahovo serves cargo flows associated with fertilisers, minerals, industrial products and other bulk commodities.
