Serbia’s mining sector recorded strong export growth, with metal ore exports increasing 31.7% to €1.62 billion during the first eight months of 2026, outperforming the country’s broader merchandise trade and industrial production trends. Metal ore shipments accounted for the overwhelming majority of €1.68 billion in total mining and quarrying exports.
