Serbia approves €50 million EBRD loan to upgrade air quality and replace outdated boilers

The Government of Serbia has approved a draft law ratifying a loan agreement between Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to implement the Air Quality Improvement Project, valued at up to €50 million. The project aims to decommission outdated coal and fuel oil boilers, primarily located in public buildings in city centers, which are significant sources of harmful gas emissions.
