In July, the average net salary in Serbia was 109,071 dinars, according to the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia. Significant differences exist between sectors. Programmers earned the highest average salary at 310,401 dinars, six times higher than workers in “other personal service activities,” who earned 61,615 dinars.
Other high-paying sectors included air transport (238,840 dinars), scientific and research development (213,814 dinars), and coke and refined petroleum production (215,496 dinars), which saw a 19.9% increase compared to June.
Low-paying sectors included food and beverage preparation and service (63,298 dinars), computer and household repair (64,118 dinars), wood processing excluding furniture (67,543 dinars), travel agencies and tour operators (76,875 dinars), and veterinary services (77,444 dinars).
