Serbia’s foreign trade in goods totaled approximately €69.5 billion in 2024, marking a 6.2% increase compared to 2023, according to the Republic Institute of Statistics.
Exports reached €30.5 billion, up 6.5%, while imports totaled €39 billion, increasing by 5.9%.
The trade deficit widened to €8.5 billion, a 3.8% rise from the previous year.
The coverage of imports by exports stood at 78.2%.
Serbia’s largest export partners were Germany (€4.7 billion), Bosnia and Herzegovina (nearly €2 billion), China (€1.7 billion), Italy (€1.7 billion), and Hungary (€1.5 billion).
On the import side, the top sources were China (around €5 billion), Germany (about €5 billion), Italy (€2.7 billion), Turkey (around €2 billion), and Hungary (€1.6 billion).
