Together with his Russian counterpart Anton Siluanov, Dinkic will sign a major loan agreement. In total, Russia grants a $ 800m loan to the Republic of Serbia.
The two countries have agreed on the conditions at the end of 2011. Already in 2008, Russia and Serbia have entered negotiations. The interest rate comes at 4.1%. According to Dinkic, the funds will be used for the modernization of Serbia´s infrastructure.
In December 2012, Serbia has received a $ 800m loan from the World Bank in order to cover its budget deficit. Since 2000, the World Bank has granted more than $ 2.0bn to Serbia.
