The Serbian government has announced that the prices of euro diesel and euro premium BMB 95 gasoline will remain capped for the next six months. Meanwhile, the price of diesel for farmers will remain unchanged at 179 dinars per liter.
During a session held on Thursday, the Government of Serbia adopted a new regulation that sets the maximum retail prices for fuel for the next six months. The method for determining these prices remains unchanged, with gas stations allowed to increase the established average wholesale prices of euro diesel and euro premium BMB 95 gasoline by up to 16 dinars per liter, as has been the case previously.
The price of diesel for farmers continues to be limited at 179 dinars per liter, in line with the current regulation.
Under the new regulation, the Oil Industry of Serbia (NIS) will offer euro diesel to registered agricultural farms at a maximum retail price of 179 dinars per liter. This applies when fueling agricultural machines and transport containers for oil derivatives, with a limit of 100 liters per hectare, based on the registered arable land area as of the regulation’s effective date.
Other entities involved in trading motor fuels at transport fueling stations can also provide euro diesel to registered agricultural farms at the same maximum retail price of 179 dinars per liter. This is applicable for agricultural machines and vessels used to transport oil derivatives, with a limit of 100 liters per hectare, for areas listed in the Register of Agricultural Farms, and up to a maximum of 100 hectares of cultivated land.
