Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic announced a Plan of priority projects in the field of energy and environmental protection and invited interested investors to invest in these projects.
Mihajlovic said that the estimated value of the projects, grouped together for the first time, is between €7 billion and €12 billion, adding that their realisation could create tens of thousands of jobs. She also noted that Serbia’s economic growth forecast could be more optimistic if all of these investments came through. She said that the Ministry will soon reduce the number of permits needed by those interested in investing in energy and environmental protection in Serbia, from the current 27 to just five.
