Serbian Minister of Agriculture Dragan Glamočić met with his North Macedonian counterpart Cvetan Tripunovski during an official visit to North Macedonia to discuss bilateral cooperation in agriculture and opportunities for its enhancement.
The ministers focused on exchanging knowledge and technology in agricultural production and strengthening partnerships through joint projects and regional initiatives. They agreed to maintain close communication to promote sustainable and competitive agriculture, contributing to the region’s economic growth.
Support for young farmers was highlighted as a priority, emphasizing their role in modernizing and revitalizing rural areas. Glamočić invited Tripunovski to attend Serbia’s “Wine Vision of the Open Balkans” fair in November, which the North Macedonian side confirmed. Tripunovski noted the event as an opportunity to showcase high-quality Macedonian wines and strengthen regional wine industry collaboration.
Glamočić’s visit was part of the Serbian government delegation led by Prime Minister Đuro Macut, which also included Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade Jagoda Lazarević.
