The Regional Industrial-Technological Park in Kruševac is expected to be completed by April 2026, announced Darko Glišić, Minister for Public Investments, during a site visit.
Approximately 14 million euros have been invested in the construction and structural work, with an additional 2.5 million euros allocated for equipment. Glišić expressed confidence that interest in the park will exceed its capacity, prompting considerations for an additional building.
This industrial park represents a new concept compared to scientific-technological parks, designed specifically for cities without university centers. Its aim is to connect the innovation sector with industrial needs, explained Zoran Tomić, advisor at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation.
The park will feature 14 modular halls that support production activities not only in IT but also in hardware manufacturing. Tomić also emphasized the importance of infrastructure projects like the Eastern Bypass (to improve park access to the highway), Rosulje Airport, and upcoming railway reconstruction projects (Belgrade-Niš, Stalać–Kraljevo).
The park covers 1.6 hectares and will include a main building, conference halls, and 39 business modules intended for technology and research-oriented companies, accommodating over 200 users.
Additionally, 14 production modules of 280 square meters each are planned, alongside an administrative building spanning 11,000 square meters.
