The Japanese company JFE Shoji’s factory in Indjija is set to officially open on April 8, initially employing 50 workers in its first phase.
In the second phase, slated for next year, the workforce will expand by an additional 200 employees, as reported by the business portal eKapija. The factory, which produces metal components for electric motors, represents a significant investment of approximately 50 million euros.
The company’s primary objective is to train its employees to work with advanced technologies.
Construction of the factory began a year ago on an 18,000 square meter site. This facility marks JFE Shoji’s first such operation in Europe, as previously reported in the media.
