In June, Serbia welcomed 217,606 foreign tourists, with the largest numbers coming from Turkey (24,175) and China (21,423), according to data from the Republic Statistical Office.
Tourists from Russia ranked third with 15,431 arrivals, followed by visitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina at 14,214. Germany secured fifth place, with 13,513 tourists, a notable presence as Germans are not often among the top five nationalities visiting Serbia.
Belgrade was the most visited city by foreign tourists, attracting 121,497 visitors, followed by Novi Sad with 14,320 arrivals.
Among mountain destinations, Zlatibor was the top choice, hosting 14,110 foreign tourists, while the spa town of Vrdnik recorded 3,528 visits.
Foreign tourists accounted for a total of 523,200 overnight stays throughout June.
