Slovenian electronics manufacturer Elrad WS-S will receive €3.015 million in Serbian state incentives for a €10.1 million investment in a new production facility in Malošište, southern Serbia.
The project includes the purchase and refurbishment of an existing industrial building and the installation of new production equipment. Under the investment incentive agreement, the company plans to create 215 permanent jobs by the end of 2028.
Investment and state support
According to updated data from Serbia’s Ministry of Economy, cited by Jugmedia and Forbes, the subsidy will be distributed in four instalments between 2026 and 2029, with the first payment scheduled for 2026. The state support represents approximately 30% of the committed investment, amounting to around €14,000 for each planned new job.
The investment will expand Elrad WS-S’s manufacturing presence in southern Serbia by bringing an existing industrial site into production and equipping it for the company’s operations.
Elrad’s existing Serbian operations
The Slovenian company already operates in Vlasotince, while another Elrad group company, Elrad Serbia, also has production activities in the town. Elrad Serbia manufactures electronic assemblies for household appliances, power tools, white goods and the automotive industry. The investment agreement requires the 215 new permanent positions to be created by the end of 2028, while the associated state incentive payments will continue through 2029.
