A direct flight route between the capitals of Serbia and Kazakhstan, Belgrade and Astana, could soon be established.
Discussions about launching regular air traffic on the Belgrade-Astana route were held between Serbia’s Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure, Aleksandra Sofronijević, and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Serbia, Madi Atamkulov.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that there are no legal obstacles to the establishment of this route, as a Memorandum of Understanding was signed in 2018 between the Ministry of Investments and Development of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure of Serbia.
