Air Serbia has launched a new seasonal flight route between Belgrade and Alghero, Sardinia. The first flight, JU478, operated by an Airbus A319 (registration YU-APL), departed from Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport at 7:20 AM. During the summer season, the route will operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Alghero is now the tenth Italian destination served directly by Er Serbia from Belgrade, joining Rome, Milan, Venice, Bologna, Florence, Naples, Bari, Palermo, and Catania. Sardinia, the second-largest island in the Mediterranean, is renowned for its rugged coastline stretching over 1,800 kilometers, numerous beaches, and traditional Mediterranean towns. This new route is the first direct air connection between Serbia and the northwest coast of Sardinia.
