Kolektor Expands Serbian Transformer Production as European Grid Demand Accelerates

Kolektor Etra has expanded its transformer manufacturing operation in Serbia with a €21.5 million investment, increasing production capacity at its Barajevo facility as demand for grid equipment rises across Europe. The Slovenian company inaugurated new production facilities near Belgrade on September 24. The expansion increases installed capacity at the Serbian operation to approximately 140 transformers per year, compared with around 70 units produced in 2025.
