Serbia budget subsidies to state-owned firms total €542 million in 2025

Serbian state-owned enterprises received 63.6 billion dinars (about €542 million) in budget subsidies during 2025, according to data in the government’s Fiscal Strategy for 2027. The transfers represented approximately 2.5% of total state budget expenditures. The Ministry of Finance data also shows that the level of support reflected direct fiscal backing for a portion of the public sector.
