Serbia launches program to support rural entrepreneurs and expand local businesses

At the end of last year, the Ministry of Rural Affairs launched a program to promote economic activities in rural areas, aiming to encourage entrepreneurs to remain in these regions. Minister Milan Krkobabić told RTS that 72 local governments applied for the program, and 14 were awarded funds. So far, these 14 municipalities have distributed up to 3.6 million dinars to nearly 100 entrepreneurs through public competitions.
