Serbia to borrow €27.25 million for tax administration modernization

Serbia plans to secure a €27.25 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) to modernize its tax administration. The government has approved a law confirming the loan agreement, signed on 6–7 August 2025. The project aims to improve tax collection efficiency and reduce compliance burdens for taxpayers.
