Serbia is releasing 5,000 tonnes of eurodiesel from mandatory reserves after higher international prices and difficult Danube logistics reduced the commercial incentive to import additional fuel. The government approved the release, with oil companies expected to receive access to the additional volumes within days. The intervention comes as the Energy Ministry forecasts diesel consumption of around 205,000 tonnes, supported partly by seasonal agricultural and transport demand.
