Belgrade to create blacklist of negligent contractors to prevent public project failures

Nikola Jovanović, director of the Belgrade Center for Local Self-Government (CLS), announced plans to create a blacklist of contractors who fail to meet professional standards or contractual obligations in city projects. According to Jovanović, companies that deliver poor-quality work, miss deadlines, or breach contracts will receive negative points in all public tenders announced by the city or its public utilities.
