Krušik-Plastika is set to leave the Belgrade Stock Exchange after shareholders approved the company’s withdrawal from the market, following the acquisition of all outstanding shares by Construction Plastic. The Osečina-based manufacturer approved the delisting at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting, according to a filing with Serbia’s Central Securities Depository. The company has not yet been formally removed from trading. The departure would add another industrial company to the growing number of Serbian businesses exiting the domestic equity market. Twelve companies had already been excluded from the Belgrade Stock Exchange during 2026.
Construction Plastic completes ownership consolidation
Krušik-Plastika was privatised in 2022 following several unsuccessful attempts to sell the company. Construction Plastic, a Belgrade-based company, acquired a 97.7% stake for €1.93 million as part of the privatisation process.
The new controlling shareholder subsequently proceeded with the acquisition of the remaining shares. Serbia’s Central Securities Depository recorded a compulsory purchase procedure during 2026, while subsequent ownership information showed Construction Plastic holding 100% of Krušik-Plastika. The approved withdrawal from the stock exchange represents the final stage of the ownership consolidation, transforming the company from a listed business with minority shareholders into a fully privately controlled manufacturer.
Manufacturer reports €10.7 million in revenue
Krušik-Plastika remains an operating industrial company with more than 200 employees. The manufacturer generated approximately RSD 1.25 billion (€10.7 million) in revenue in 2025 and recorded a net profit of around RSD 60.4 million (€515,000).
Its production portfolio includes plastic products, industrial packaging and technical products. With ownership consolidated, Construction Plastic controls the entire manufacturing operation and no longer has a minority shareholder structure alongside the company’s principal owner.
Belgrade Stock Exchange continues to lose industrial companies
Krušik-Plastika’s departure has limited direct implications for the overall value and liquidity of the Belgrade Stock Exchange, as its shares were already concentrated among a small number of owners and traded relatively infrequently. The delisting comes amid a broader reduction in the number of companies listed on the Serbian market.
Other companies have also left the exchange during the year, while Energoprojekt Holding is moving toward delisting following a compulsory purchase of shares. Krušik-Plastika will add another operating industrial company to the group of Serbian businesses that have shifted from public or dispersed ownership to concentrated private control. The company’s ownership transition began with the state privatisation in 2022, followed by the acquisition of the remaining shares and the move toward withdrawal from the stock exchange.
