At the Kopaonik Business Forum, Andrej Sovrović emphasized the importance of supporting domestic investments that contribute significantly to economic development. He highlighted that Delta Holding’s planned investments, totaling nearly one billion euros, are aimed at projects with broader social impact.
In the past year, Delta Holding achieved a revenue of 942 million euros, reflecting a 10% growth, and an EBITDA of 116 million euros. For 2025, the company anticipates revenues of 1,221 million euros. The company’s strategic focus is on three key sectors: real estate, agriculture, and e-commerce, which offer long-term growth opportunities.
Sovrović pointed out that Delta’s investments go beyond business ventures, emphasizing the company’s commitment to investing in people, knowledge, and market development. A prime example is the Sava Center, where Delta invested over 120 million euros. The restoration of the Sava Center not only returned a landmark to Belgrade but also revitalized the city’s congress tourism. In May, the venue will host a congress with 7,000 delegates, expected to boost the local economy and hospitality sector.
Delta is continuing its investment trajectory with projects like Delta District, a modern residential and business complex that will reshape the city’s landscape. Additionally, the return of the InterContinental Hotel to Belgrade after a 20-year absence is a significant move for the city’s urban development. Delta’s investments in agriculture and e-commerce further strengthen the overall market ecosystem, benefiting both the company and the broader economy.
Sovrović also emphasized the importance of investing in human capital, particularly by strengthening the link between formal education and the economy. He stressed that without this connection, long-term economic progress is not sustainable. As a member of the executive board, Sovrović reaffirmed Delta Holding’s commitment to fostering knowledge and supporting economic advancement through strategic investments.
