CWP Europe has successfully completed and commissioned a 6 MWp rooftop solar installation at the Henkel Serbia facility in Kruševac. The project was developed in partnership with Resalta and financed by UniCredit Bank, using an innovative ESCO model with CWP Europe as the main investor.
The system is now fully operational and will generate 6,278 MWh of green electricity per year, meeting 21% of the plant’s total energy demand and cutting CO₂ emissions by 5,857 tons annually. The plant is designed to operate optimally for the next 15 years.
While CWP Europe primarily focuses on large-scale renewable projects, this engagement represents a strategic step in distributed generation, supporting a leading industrial partner in achieving its sustainability and decarbonization goals.
With extensive experience in renewable energy implementation, CWP Europe has contributed both expertise and investment capacity to a project that establishes a new benchmark for industrial decarbonization in Serbia.
