The municipality of Inđija has announced that the company Techron Automotive doo Belgrade has submitted a request for a decision on whether an environmental impact assessment is required for its planned project—a production complex for plastic automotive parts in Inđija.
According to Beta, citing eKapija, this factory will be the first facility of the Chinese company Techron outside its home country. Construction is expected to begin by the end of this year in the Inđija industrial zone. The first phase includes building a 4,500-square-meter production hall, with plans to employ around 200 workers once the project reaches full capacity. The opening of the facility is planned for mid-2026.
Techron manufactures automotive components for major brands such as Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Chery, Geely, and others. Its product portfolio includes engine and gearbox components, as well as interior and exterior parts and control system components.
